bullet  General Notes

Colleen D. Richmond was an Associate Professor of Writing and Literature at George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon. She received her BA from Oregon State University; her MA from Portland State University; and her PhD from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2003.  Her dissertation examined Christian women whose spiritual experience gave them a political voice.

Colleen's special interests at work were medieval studies and Shakespeare, focusing on the spiritual journey of medieval and Renaissance women. Her passions beyond teaching included traveling and going to movies, plays, and concerts with her family. Lattes and conversation with friends at a local coffee shop were also a favorite indulgence.
