Eleanor Marcia ("Marcia") Cairncross was born in Idaho and came to Glendale, California, where she became a piano teacher and had "notable" students.  She belonged to the Music Teachers Association, California (M.T.A.C.), Glendale Branch.  Shortly after a stroke she died in Glendale, California.  She married piano tuner Harold Wesley Trinkle, who was born in Indiana and died in Glendale.  Harold and Marcia Trinkle had one son.
