bullet  General Notes

Lloyd went by John. John grew up in Plaza, a very small community in Eastern Washington. At his funeral, his son Bob, told a story of John and one of his brothers. When they were young, they played in a creek of sorts near their home. For whatever reason, they decided to build a dam. And they did. It was so good, after a few days, the whole town was flooded! In John's adult life, he always seemed bigger than life. He was so quiet all the time, at family gatherings when watching football, if he hollered at the television, his nieces and nephews would jump. To them, he was a big comfortable teddy bear. In his work life, he was very successful.
