"344. EPHRIAM RICHMOND5 (William4, Silvester3, Edward2, John1) was born in Little Compton, R. I., May 5, 1723. He married, January 19, 1744, Elizabeth Cook of Tiverton, who died April 1797.
He settled with the children in Little Compton in 1743, and the first three children were baptized there. He has a slave who was a hatter, and used to go to Providence and work his trade, and helped support his owner in his old age.
