EVA LOIS (POWELL) HEISLER was born 13 July 1883 near Dufur, Wasco County, Oregon, USA.  She was the daughter of Isaac Jamison Powell and Adelia Emily Collver. 

On 26 Aug 1900 in Dufur, Wasco County, Oregon, she married her husband, Charles Monroe Heisler.  Charles was a farmer or farm laborer most of his life.  He was born 03 June 1879 in Prineville, Crook County, Oregon, the son of Monroe Heisler and Cynthia Louise White. 

Eva had brown hair.  On the 12 Sep 1918 WWI draft registration card that Charles filled out, he was described as of medium height and slender build, with dark brown eyes and dark brown hair. 

Charles died 03 Sep 1957 in Dufur, Wasco County, Oregon, and was buried in the Dufur IOOF Cemetery.  Eva died 16 years later on 09 Oct 1973 in The Dalles, Wasco County, Oregon, and she was buried beside Charles in the Dufur Cemetery.  They share a gravestone.
