Moses Powell, Jr. Ga. Mil. Rev. War 1762-1821.

"Moses Powell Jr Born in S.C. served as Pvt under Gen Elizah Clark of Ga. Married Sarah Maddux received bounty land
Washington Co. Ga. moved to Jasper Co. 1817. "

The will of his brother Benjamin, dated 9 Dec 1823, presumes he has not yet died.

Moses & Sarah were members of the Powelton Baptist Church in Hancock County from 1808 until 1817, when they presumably moved to Jasper County.
