bullet  General Notes

Margaret "Meg" Summers/Campbell
She grew up in Falkirk and was buried in Falkirk cemetery.
She worked for Robert Craig and Son, a paper maker, at Moffat Mills, Airdrie.
She had a relationship with a Mr. Ramsay, probably before 1915. It is possible that he worked for the paper maker also as granddad has never heard mention of Margaret working in any other company and her second husband was connected to the company also. By him Margaret had the daughter Isobel Ramsay Summers ("Isa" - who became Isa Simpson). He said that the family were well respected in later years. In fact the name Ramsay was then given as a middle name for one of granddad's sons, being considered a family name.
Married a John Haining (whose son David married Margaret's sister Isobel "Bella"), who worked for the paper maker also as a gardener. He was in to curling/bowling? John Haining died before 1927, believed in Caldercruix.
Margaret finished up in Caldercruix and lived in Daisy Bank, near the station.
Granddad mentioned something about a family of Hainings living in Glenmavis, a village outside or on the edge of Airdrie.

— reminiscenses from a sibling of Margaret, as transcribed by his grandson
