Mrs. Rita Lucille Goode
   Funeral services for Mrs. Rita Lucille Goode, who died Friday night in a local hospital, will be held at 9:30 o'clock tomorrow morning at the Cage-Mills Funeral Home.
   Mrs. Goode is survived by her husband, Michael Goode, her mother, Mrs. Walter Russ of Corpus Christi,; her father, E. F. Jewett of Waterloo, Iowa, one son, three sisters and two brothers.
   Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery under direction of the Cage-Mills Funeral Home.

  • When she got married to Harry Eighmey, Rita declared herself to be older than she really was, claiming that she would be 19 on her next birthday.  That would have made her born in 1911.  Of course, since she was really born in 1915, that means that Rita was 2½ months shy of 15 years old when she first got married.
