    Oldest Native Resident, Niagara Falls, Ont, Is Summoned by Death

    Mrs. Eleanor Leasare Wright Would Have Been 90 Years on Monday; Funeral on Saturday.

         She was born January 25, 1842 on Clifton Hill, which was then known as "Meadow Hill," in a residence which is now the site of the Clifton hotel.
         She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Foster, pioneer residents of the frontier. Mrs. Wright was confirmed and married in All Saint's church.
         Her mother was the first person buried in All Saint's church cemetery.  Later the family resided at the corner of Victoria avenue and Magdalene street, in a stone house which is one of the historic landmarks of the city.
         Surviving are one daughter, Eleanor, at home; two sons, Fred of Niagara Falls, N.Y. and William C. of Toronto.
         Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the family home.
         Interment will be in All Saints' church cemetery.

         NIAGARA FALLS. Ont. Dec. 15. — Right Rev. L. W. B. Broughall, of Hamilton, bishop of Niagara diocese will be at All Saints' church Sunday morning at the 11 o'clock service for the purpose of dedicating a handsome brass lectern and Bible given in memory of the late Mrs. Eleanor Foster Wright, widow of George Wright, of Huron street, by her children.
         Mrs. Wright, who was one of the oldest residents here, was baptized, confirmed and married at All Saints' church and is buried in All Saints' church cemetery. Her mother, the late Mrs. Foster, pioneer resident, was the first interment in the cemetery of All Salnts' church.
         Rev. Percival Mayes, rector, will assist in the service.
         On Sunday evening at 7 o'clock the A.Y.P.A. members of All Saints' church will have charge of the service. Reg. Towne, past president of tho dominion A.Y.P.A., will give the address.

    In Memory of the Late Mrs. Eleanor Foster Wright

         NIAGARA FALLS, Ont., Dec. 18. — In memory of the late Mrs. Eleanor
    Foster Wright, widow of George Wright of this city, a handsome brass lectern and Bible, given by her children to All Saint's church, were dedicated yesterday morning at the 11 o'clock service by Right Rev. L. W. B. Broughall, Hamilton, Ont., bishop of the Niagara diocese. There was a large congregation.
         Rev. Percival Mayes, rector, assisted in the service and gave a brief address relative to Mrs. Wright, daughter of pioneer residents of this city, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Foster, being members of St. George church which preceded All Saints church on the present site.
         Mrs. Wright although residing at the north end of the city was closely identified with All Saint's church where she was baptized, confirmed and married and was laid to rest in All Saint's church
    cemetery a few years, ago. The altar was beautifully decorated with pink roses.
