  Mildred Isabel (Midge) Read
       Midge was born April 4, 1917 in Witt, Montgomery County, Illinois to Ellen Findlay Roe and Edward McNary Read. She died November 29, 2009 at Roo Lan Healthcare Center, Lacey, Washington.
       Miss Read was 92 years old and has been a resident of Washington since 1995 when she came from Witt Illinois to live with her sister, Jean Read Hough, and brother-in-law, Glenn Hough.
       She was the last survivor of her immediate family. Her mother; father; three sisters and two brothers preceded her in death. Surviving her are two sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; ten nieces; six nephews; and numerous grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. Mildred was very active in church life, including lay leader, pianist, Sunday School Teacher. She was a member of both the Assembly of God and Methodist Churches in her lifetime.
       A graveside service is planed for her in Witt, Illinois. The family suggests, gifts should be directed to the First United Methodist Church of Olympia or Witt or a church of your choice. Local arrangements by Mills & Mills Funeral Home, Tumwater, WA.
