James A. Mayberry
THE MORNING SUN

James A. Mayberry, 72 of Walnut, KS died at 10:22 a.m. Monday March 31 at the Mount Carmel Regional Medical Center in Pittsburg.

He was born December 28, 1935 in Englevale, KS the son of Alonzo and Ida Irene (McVey) Mayberry. He lived in Walnut since 1993 moving from Girard.

James married Helen Elora Simons on Sept. 8, 1956 in Girard. She preceded him in death on May 31, 2002.

He worked for Mid-West Mineral; he shot dynamite and was a driller.

Survivors include 2 daughters, a son, 8 Grandchildren and 7 Great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday April 3 at the Farlington Cemetery in Farlington, KS with Reverend Pauline Clugston officiating. Family and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery on Thursday for the services. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Friskel Funeral Home in Frontenac where friends may call after 1 p.m. Wednesday.
