Virginia A. Scott

DENVER, Colo. - Mrs. Virginia Amy Scott, 90, of Denver, Colo., formerly of Millington, died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2006 at Swedish Hospital in Englewood, Colo.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, at the Millington United Methodist Church with Pastor Kirk Scott officiating.

Burial will be at the Millington-Newark Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. Tuesday until time of services at 11 a.m. at the church.

Gabel-Dunn Funeral Home, Ltd. in Newark is in charge of arrangements.

Born Sept. 9, 1916 in Millington, she was the daughter of George V. and Elsie (Miller) Hartman. On July 20, 1940 she married James Arthur Scott at the Millington United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church in Denver.

Survivors include three sons, six grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James on Nov. 12, 2002; and two sisters, Helen and Barbara.
