Obituary:  Earl Richmond

Earl Donald Richmond, 69, of Sheridan, died Friday, July 9, at Community Hospital of Ottawa.

Mr. Richmond was born Oct. 18, 1912 in Newark to James Dean and Effie (Kellogg) Richmond. He married Gladys E. Anderson on May 8, 1942 and she died in December of 1971. On July 27, 1974 he married Gladys L. Widley. She died on Dec. 17, 1981. He was member of the LaVerne W. Anderson, American Legion Post 729 in Sheridan. He was an owner of General Trucking and a veteran of World War II.

He is survived by one foster son, one brother, one sister, and three foster grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two wives.

Funeral services were held Sunday at the Larson-Gabel Funeral Home in Newark, with the Elder Robert Anderson officiating. Burial was in the Millington-Newark Cemetery.
