MR. H. B. MACLURE.

HAY, Tuesday.

The death has occurred of Mr. Henry Barkly Maclure, 83, a leading business man of Hay for many years. He was a director of Maclure Pty., Ltd., storekeepers. Mr. Maclure was also largely interested in pastoral properties in the central and western divisions of the State.

During the 60 years he resided at Hay he filled many public positions, including those of Mayor, and president of the Hay Hospital. He was the trustee of several public properties at the time of his death.

He is survived by two sons, Dr. Alfred Fay Maclure, the well-known Collins Street, Melbourne, surgeon, and Dr. Noel Maclure, manager and part owner of Tchelery Station, Moulamein, and two daughters, Mrs. George D. Butterworth, of Hay, and Mrs. Hodgson, the wife or Mr. Hodgson, of the firm of Anderson, Hodgson, and Lithgow, accountants, of Melbourne.

He will be buried in Melbourne.

MR. H. B. MACLURE'S £63,057 ESTATE. 

Mr. Henry Barkly Maclure, company director, of Hay, N.S.W., who died on May 9, 1939, left an estate which was sworn for probate in the Supreme Court yesterday at £63,057. 

Mr. Maclure, who was 82 years old and a widower, left £1,000 each to the Hay Presbyterian Church and the Hay Hospital. To each person employed by Maclure Pty., Ltd., and the Hay Motor and Engineering Pty., Ltd., at the time of his death, he left two weeks' salary. He appointed his son-in-law, George Duncan Butterworth, to take his place as governing-director of those two companies.

All his shares in Maclure Pty., Ltd., Mr. Maclure left to his daughter, Mrs. Elsie Butterworth, and of his shares in the Hay Motor and Engineering Com- pany, he left half each to his son, Noel Armstrong Maclure, and his daughter Mrs Freida Hodgson.

The balance of his estate Mr. Maclure left in equal shares to Alfred Fay Maclure and Noel Armstrong Maclure (sons), Mrs. Butterworth and Mrs. Hodgson (daughters), and Mrs. Alicia Maclure (daughter- in-law).
