Allen Ray Menz

   ORAN — Allen Ray Menz, 22 years old, of Oran, was killed Friday night in a two-car head-on collision two miles north of Chaffee on Route M.  His wife and a daughter also died in the accident.
   He was a construction worker and a member of AFL Labor Union Local No. 282.  He was employed at the construction site of the Noranda plant in New Madrid until recently.
   Mr. Menz was born Sept. 9, 1948, in Kankakee, Ill.  He attended schools in Kankakee and Bell City.  In April 1966, he was married to the former Miss Barbara Jane Burns.  They moved to Oran two months ago from Chaffee.
   He is survived by a daughter in critical condition at a Chaffee hospital; his father, Paul A. Menz, Oran; his mother, Mrs. Imogene Menz, Kansas City; a brother, Paul Wayne Menz, Oran; a sister, also of Oran; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Mary  Menz, Oran, and maternal grandfather, Jack Howell, Kankakee.
   The body is at the Bisplinghoff Funeral Home in Chaffee where friends may call after 7:30 tonight.
   Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 at the funeral home with the Rev. James Bolden, pastor of the Gospel Assembly Church at East Prairie, officiating.  Burial will follow in the Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.
