    Graveside rites for Elva Brooks, 79, of the Woodlawn Convalescent Home, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Fairview Cemetery.
    He died at 5 a.m. Tuesday at the convalescent home. Born May 21, 1894, he was employed for 27 years at the Galloway Co. of Waterloo.
    He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Wifeman, Glendale, Ariz; and four sons, Howard and Glen Bitters, both of Iowa Falls, and Wayne and Kenneth Brooks, California.
    Friends may call at Parrott and Wood Funeral Home until noon Thursday.
