bullet  General Notes

NOTE:  I am not certain Agnes (Bowman) Smith belongs to this couple.  I believe she does, so I am attaching here for the time being.  Her death certificate says she is the daughter of William Bowman, mason, and Agnes Patrick.  Cannot find any evidence of another Bowman-Patrick marriage.  Cannot find any of this family in the censuses, either.  Suspect the parents died before 1841.  Cannot track other children in the censuses, either, or find a death certificates for them (father's occupation on another child's death certificate would make it more likely, but no other records found).  March 2010, kmh.

Oct. 2010 - discovered Janet Bowman Stevenson death certificate; father's occupation also listed as mason; also death certificate for Dalrymple Bowman lists father's occupation as stone mason. kmh.
