       Martin Fry died at his residence in LaPorte City Aug 29, 1881. Mr. Fry was born in Strasburg, Germany - Jan. 13, 1821.
       He came to LaPorte City, IA 14 years ago last April. Mr. Fry has been an invalid for many years suffering constantly.
       He was a member of the Evangelical church, but on account of his great sufferings for many years he has not attended services.
       He was a good man and as far as he was able made himself a useful member of society.
       His remains were deposited in West View Cemetery, LaPorte City, IA, Rev. Skaes officiating.
