  • Although George was buried at Riccarton Churchyard in Riccarton, Ayrshire, Scotland in 1861, his son-in-law Charles Currie erected a memorial to him in Kaimshill Cemetery.  Kaimshill Cemetery is also located in Riccarton (which is now part of Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire, Scotland). The attached photo features the panel in Kaimshill Cemetery that memorializes George Brown.
