Obituary (from an unknown newspaper):

   Beulah E. Parker 84, died Wednesday, April 11 at a Madera hospital of a brief illness. She was a native of Joplin, MO and a resident of Madera for 63 years. She was a member of First Christian Church, the Rebekah Lodge and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was Past Mother, Advisor of the Rainbow Girls and a member of the 5A Club.
   In 1984 she retired after 25 years with James Department Store. She was the postmistress at the Dinkey Creek Post Office from 1949-1960.
   She is survived by a son, Truman Parker of Madera; a daughter, Joyce Whitaker of Madera, a brother, B.F. Johnson of Temple City; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
   Funeral Services will be at 11 am Friday, April 13, at Jay Chapel with burial to follow at Arbor Vitae Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 pm tonight, April 12, at Jay Chapel.
