ROBERT HAINING was born 11 July 1835 in Tarbolton, Ayrshire, Scotland, the son of shoemaker David Haining and Margaret Currie. He was baptized in the local parish church on 19 July 1835. Robert died when he was only 14 years old, on 07 August 1849. He was buried in Tarbolton Churchyard.
