LEVI C. BRYANT was born 23 May 1840 in Indiana.

On 21 June 1861 in White County, Indiana, USA, he married his first wife, Eliza Jane Myers. They had two children together, son Edwin (or Edward) and daughter Jessie. But then Eliza apparently died.

Levi (or "Lee" as he was sometimes called) next married Laura A. Tilberry on 03 April 1873 in Miami County, Indiana. She had previously been married to James K. Thayer, and had a daughter, Pauline, from that union. Levi and Laura had at least two more sons together, Guy Hiram Bryant, and William C. Bryant.

Levi appeared on the census in 1880 and in 1900 in Peru, Miami, Indiana; but in 1910 the family had moved to Jasper Township, Shannon County, Missouri, USA. Finally, the family moved to Springfield, Greene County, Illinois, USA.

On the 3rd of December, 1917, Levi's second wife Laura died. Then in 1918 or 1919, Levi married a final time to his third wife, Mary Maglone (recently widowed from her husband Allen Williams). The new couple did not have long to live together, for Levi himself died on the 12th of April, 1923.

The cause of her death was Bronchial pneumonia; Senility.2
