Mrs. Hinrichsen Dies Thursday

Mrs. Vera Hinrichsen, 71, longtime resident of Niobrara County, died last Thursday in Natrona Memorial Hospital in Casper of pneumonia following surgery.

Funeral services were held from the Peet Chapel Saturday with the Rev. Leroy Kellerman of St. Paul's Lutheran Church officiating. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.

Mrs. J. P. Watson was the organist. Mrs. Emerson Boner and Mrs. Lyle Eddy sang, "Beyond the Sunset" and "In The Garden".

Pallbearers were: Royce Nelson, Linden Nelson, Melvin Nelson, Elmer Nelson, Lee Moore and John Moore.

Edna Cora Vera Houts was born June 26, 1893 in Council Bluffs, Iowa the daughter of William and Cora Belle Houts. She lived in Iowa until her marriage to John Hinrichsen February 10, 1911. They moved to Niobrara County by covered wagon in 1918 and settled on a homestead in the Lance Creek area.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Kaper of Minatare, Nebr., Mrs. Florence Haberman of Lance Creek and Mrs. Hazel Cundall of Riverton; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
