McLane, 80, who was found dead of coronary occlusion Saturday at his home; burial in Noble cemetery; had been Clayton County deputy sheriff, Strawberry Point marshal and manager of the liquor store here; survivors are a brother, Amil, Elkader; a step-son, Earl McGarvey, Mason City, and two step-daughters, Mrs. Larry Delsing and Mrs. Harry Gilbert, both of Redding, Calif.
