General Notes

Sylvester Richmond — there are conflicting reports about his birth and death.  Presumably he was born and died before the Sylvester Richmond born in 1815.  He died young, but it is not known how long he lived.  Listed first in Joshua Bailey Richmond's lineage.  One unverified record gives a birth of Dec 1803 (only 2 months after the marriage — seems unlikely).  Another record, from the family data collection, says he was born in 1811 and died in 1815.  In the 1810 census, Jonathan has 4 males under 10 years old, so perhaps Sylvester was still alive during the 1810 census.  (With 4 male children under 10, with Sylvester, Amaziah, and Jonathan Zephaniah, that still leaves one unknown male child unaccounted for.)
