   Evelyn Ruth Crabtree, 96, a resident of Portland, Ore., died at her home Sunday, April 8, 2012.
   She was born May 26, 1915, in Maupin, Ore., to John M. and Della Alice (White) Powell. She was raised and educated in Maupin Juniper Flats, graduating from Maupin High School.
   She married Isaac Earl Crabtree on May 28, 1942. They lived in Maupin until moving to Seaside, Ore., in 1958, then relocated to Portland.
   She worked as a bookkeeper at an electronics repair business, attended Baptist Church, traveled to Germany and enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing, gardening and yard work.
   She is survived by her son, ----- Crabtree and his wife -----; grandson,  ----- Crabtree; and her brother, Arthur Lee Powell, all of Portland.
   She was preceded in death by her husband Isaac in 1961 and her parents.
   Viewing will be Saturday, April 14, from noon until 1:30 p.m. at Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow the viewing on April 14 at 2 p.m. at Odd Fellows Threemile Cemetery.
   Donations may be made to charity of choice.
