    Mrs. Florence Eagleton, 85 Dies

       Florence Elizabeth, daughter of Robert Andrew and Lucinda Petty Childress was born in Fayette Co. Nov. 5, 1891 and passed away in Shelby Co. Memorial Hospital, Shelbyville, Il Oct. 12, 1977 after an extended illness.
       On Nov. 27, 1912 she was united in marriage to James Ozrow Beck and to this union one son and three daughters were born. Mr. Beck preceded her in death.
       In June of 1949 she was married to Fred Eagleton who also preceded her in death.
    She leaves a son, Cale Beck of Herrick; three daughters, Mrs. Velva Henderson of Herrick, Mrs. Kathleen Spreckelmeyer of Decatur and Mrs. Ruth Turner of Shelbyville.
       Three sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.
       Mrs. Eagleton was an active member of the Kaskaskia Church of the Bretheren, and the oldest member of the congregation.
       Her entire life has been spent in this vicinity [Loudon Township, Fayette County, Illinois] where she is well known.
