Donald McNabb Colvin, 74, of Columbia died Thursday at Tuolumne General Hospital, Sonora.
Mr. Colvin was a native of Oregon. He lived in Columbia 15 years. He was a technician for Lockheed for 21 years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and the Moose Lodge, both of Sonora, and a former member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Colvin of Columbia; children, ----- ----- of Placerville and ----- ----- of Twin Falls, Idaho; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Sonora. Burial will be at Columbia City Cemetery. Terzich & Wilson Funeral Home, Sonora, is in charge of arrangements.
- He was buried at the Saint Anne's Catholic Churchyard in Columbia, Tuolumne County, California, USA on 22 February 1995. The obituary said that Donald would be buried at Columbia City Cemetery (otherwise known as Columbia Public Cemetery) and although Donald and Mary Ann Colvin own a plot in the Cremation section there (row J, plot 1), Donald was apparently interred at Saint Anne's Catholic Churchyard instead.
