General Notes

ARMSTRONG —  Alta Waggoner Armstrong was born in Burlington, Mich., Sept. 28, 1861; and passed away in Glendale, Calif., Jan. 9, 1949. She worked for the Pacific Press in the early days and when her brother, E. J. Waggoner, went to England to edit Present Truth she went with him. She was married to Harry Armstrong, a minister, and they labored in North England, Wales, and India. Upon his death, she returned to the States. She is survived by a son, Aubrey Armstrong. Sister Armstrong was a faithful member of the Glendale church at the time of her death.
