General Notes Cader Powell and his family were all born in Virginia before the settlement of boundary lines, so when the changes were made, the Cader Powell family found themselves in Kentucky, perhaps on the grant of land given him for his Revolutionary service. Cader next married Frances FOOTE, daughter of Henry Alexander FOOTE and Margaret COLCLOUGH, on 3 June 1782 in Warren County, North Carolina, USA.2 3 (Frances FOOTE was born in 1763 in prob Fauquier County, Virginia, USA and died on 25 June 1857 in Pike County, Kentucky, USA.)
