DALE G. RICE
Dale G. Rice, a retired Portland banker, died of causes related to age Wednesday in a Gladstone care center. A private service will be held Tuesday. Mr. Rice was 92.
He was born Aug. 2, 1901, in The Dalles, and lived most of his life in the Portland area. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army and married Doris Smith on Oct. 18, 1946, in Carson City, Nev. Mr. Rice worked for U.S. National Bank for 40 years until his retirement as a vice president in 1966.
Survivors in addition to his wife include his son, ----- of Lake Oswego; daughter, ----- ----- of Tualatin; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Private burial will be in Willamette National Cemetery.
The family suggests remembrances be contributions to the Willamette Falls Hospital Foundation.
