Delores M. Black, 70, of Niles, died Sunday, March 16, 2008, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, surrounded by her family members.
Private gravesite services were held today, Monday, March 24, at 11 a.m. at Crystal Springs Cemetery in Benton Harbor.
She was born on Feb. 16, 1938, in Allison Township, Illinois to William Herbert and Bertha Marie (Bearley) Maglone.
She was a manager at Henry's Drive-In in Benton Harbor for more than 40 years before she retired in 2003. She then worked in the nutrition department at Lakeland for two years.
She loved to shop and spoil her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Black in 1968; a daughter, Phyllis Black in 2004; two sisters, Juanita Montgomery and Louise Thrall and a brother, Jack Maglone, all of Illinois.
Arrangements were by Fairplain Chapel of Florin Funeral Service in Benton Harbor.
