Marcia Ivy Copeland

Marcia Ivy Copeland, 66, of Bentonville, Ark., died Saturday, May 14, 2005, in Little Rock, Ark. She was born Jan. 9, 1939, in Sandwich, Ill., to Russell Bowen and Barbara Hartman Bowen.

She moved with her family to Sugar Creek Ranch in 1956. She worked in Rogers at the First National Bank and Wendt-Sonis. She married Joe Copeland of Spur, Texas, on April 14, 1972. She was a homemaker and a member of the Brightwater Memorial Methodist Church in Pea Ridge, Ark. She enjoyed nature and the outdoors.

Survivors include her husband, a daughter, a stepdaughter and spouse, a brother and sister-in-law, a sister and brother-in-law, two grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 21, at the Brightwater Memorial Methodist Church in Pea Ridge, Ark., with the Rev. Bill Steele.

Cremation arrangements were in Little Rock, Ark.

Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation, 6213 Lee Ave., Little Rock, AR 72205.
