MARY HELMAN

Mary Ann W. "Molly" Helman‚ 76‚ of Perkasie‚ died unexpectedly Monday‚ July 12‚ 2004‚ in Lehigh Valley Hospital in Salisbury Twp.‚ Lehigh County. She was the wife of Wayne Helman. The couple celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary June 18.

Born in Pennsylvania‚ she was a daughter of the late Charles L. and Anne (Rufe) Wieand. She was a graduate of the former Lansdale High School‚ Class of 1945‚ and the Pierce School of Business in Philadelphia.

Mrs. Helman was a homemaker.

She was a member of Gwynedd Friends Meeting in Gwynedd.

She served as a volunteer for Grand View Hospital in West Rockhill Twp. for 20 years and was in charge of the hospital's snack shop. She was a former member of the Woman's Club of Perkasie.

In addition to her husband‚ she is survived by a son and his wife; a son-in-law; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter‚ Candy Ann Helman.

Family and friends are invited to attend her memorial service Sunday‚ Aug. 8‚ at 2 PM in the Gwynedd Friends Meetinghouse‚ Route 202 and Sumneytown Pike‚ Gwynedd. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gwynedd Friends Meeting‚ PO Box 142‚ Gwynedd‚ PA 19436. Arrangements are by the Bernard Suess Funeral Home in Perkasie.
