CLINTON (PNS) — Lester Leo Welch, 47, R.R. 1, Dewitt, died at the Veterans Hospital, Danville, Tuesday afternoon.
He was taken to Herington-Calvert Funeral Home.
Mr. Welch was born at Clinton, Feb. 8, 1920, the son of Otis Jasper Welch and Elsa May Jasper Welch. He married Elda Eileen Parrott May 5, 1937, in Indiana.
He is survivied by his wife; one son, Thomas L. Welch, Dewitt; two daughters, Mrs. George Troyer, Heyworth; ----- ----- Welch, at home; a half brother, Harrison L. Walters, Dewitt; a brother, Edward Welch, Weldon; James Welch, Wapella, Chester C. Welch, Calhoun; a sister, Mrs. Laverne Haste, Canton, Ind.; and two grandchildren.
He was a veteran of World War II.
