  Harry W. Eighmey
       Harry W. Eighmey, 60, former Waterloo resident recently of Phoenix, Ariz., died there at 2:30 a.m., Monday of cancer. Services are being planned by the Green Acres Mortuaries of Scottsdale, Ariz.
       He was born Feb. 10, 1908, the son of Leamon and Nellie Woods Eighmey. On Feb. 19, 1934, he married Laura Hart of Shell Rock. Mr. Eighmey lived in Waterloo until October of 1967 when he moved to Phoenix. He had been employed at the Rath Packing Company for 42 years before retiring in 1965. He was a member of the Rath Management Club and Black Hawk IOOF Lodge 72.
       Surviving are his widow, one son, Gerald and one granddaughter, all of Phoenix. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and five brothers.

       Harry W. Eighmey, 60, who retired as foreman in 1965 after 12 years with the Rath Packing Co. at Waterloo, Iowa, died yesterday in his home, 2502 N. 32nd St.
       Mr. Eighmey was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church here, an Odd Fellow lodge and the Rath Management Club, both in his native Waterloo. He came to Phoenix in October 1967.
       Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N. Hayden, where friends may call after 2 p.m. today. Burial will be in Green Acres Cemetery.
       Survivors include his wife, Laura; a son, Gerald of Phoenix; and one granddaughter.

Harry married Rita Lucille JEWETT, daughter of Elias Frederick JEWETT and Laura Burnette HANCE, on 26 October 1929 in Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, USA.¹ The marriage ended in divorce before 19 February 1934.
