General Notes Mrs. Amanda Reed (nee Thomas) was born in Paris, Ohio, December 15, 1821, and departed this life the 26 of September 1910, at the home of her daughter Mrs. Dora Janney, north 10th street. The cause of her death being old age, being 88 years, 10 months and 11 days. She was married to Mr. Mortimer Reed December 11, 1842, in Paris, Ohio, who died in this city in 1864. This union was blessed with eight children, five of whom preceded her in death. Mr. And Mrs. Reed came to Clark County by the wagon road in 1843 and located on a farm south of Casey, later moving to Martinsville. Burial Notes Marshall Cemetery Recorded Events in Her Life
