"Two men of the 11th Armored Cavalry were killed in the crash of their OH-6A LOACH (hull number 65-12946). The pilot was CPT R L Durham. This was during the intervention into Cambodia. Sgt Marr had extended his tour to take advantage of the early out program from the Army. He was in his second month of the six months extension."
