Joyce Ealy
Joyce Ealy, 88, 104 W. Reel, Vincennes, passed away at 12:05 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2009 at Miller's Merry Manor Nursing Home in Sullivan.
She was born Nov. 26, 1920, in Vincennes, to Roy and Verna Lois (Highsmith) Moon.
Joyce had worked as a beautician and had served as the church secretary for Reel Avenue Christian Church and Franklin Heights Christian Church. In her later years, she was a house sitter for the Curtner family and also enjoyed working in the yard.
Surviving are her daughters, ----- ----- -----, (-----) and ----- Ealy, both of Vincennes; sisters, ----- ----- of Vincennes and ----- ----- of Plainville. Also surviving are three grandchildren, ----- -----, ----- ----- and ----- -----.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marvin Ealy, who passed away April 4, 1960; a sister, Robertine Wade; and two brothers, Gerald Moon and Robert Moon.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Rick Grant officiating.
