Helen Elora Mayberry

WALNUT — Helen Elora Mayberry, 60, of Walnut, died at 6:51 a.m. Friday, May 31, 2002, at St. John's Regional Medical Center.

She was born Dec. 2, 1941, at Fort Scott, to Archie T. and Mable McReynolds Simons.

She married James Mayberry on Sept. 8, 1956, at Girard. He survives of the home.

Mrs. Mayberry was a homemaker and worked at B&J's Cafe at Walnut for four years.

Survivors include a son; two daughters; a brother; four sisters; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, James Mayberry; one sister and one brother.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Farlington Cemetery with the Rev. Ron Bumstead officiating.  Services and arrangements are under the direction of Friskel Funeral Home, 230 E. McKay, Frontenac.
