Frances N. Anderson

Frances N. Anderson of Port Hadlock died of congestive heart failure at age 89.
She was born in Davenport to Lucius Delray and Alta Ocean (Yaryan) Desso.
She was raised in Spokane and married Curtiss Buren Anderson July 20, 1930, in Little Falls. Mr. Anderson died July 12, 2000, days before the couple's 70th wedding anniversary.
After their marriage, the Andersons lived in several places before settling in Grangeville, Idaho. In 1963, the family moved to the Irondale/Port Hadlock area.
Mrs. Anderson was a homemaker and an avid reader who enjoyed games of all kinds, especially bingo and card games. She also liked to crochet afghans.
Survivors include 3 daughters, 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by a brother, Bud Yaryan, a sister, Dorothy Nobach, and a grandson, Scott Bird.
Services: Saturday, Oct. 19 at 1 p.m., memorial potluck remembrance gathering at Oddfellows Hall, Rhody Drive, Chimacum. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, Chimacum. Kosec Funeral Home is in charge.
