    Davidson--Jamieson

The marriage of Mr. John Davidson (son of Mr. and Mrs. R. Davidson, Rialto Street, Coorparoo) and Miss Mary Irvin Jamieson (daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Jamieson, Overend Street, East Brlsbane) took place in the Ann Street Presbyterian Church on April 21. The Rev. Alexander Duff officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, was gowned in Honiton lace, and her veil was arranged with a silver trimmed halo cap, and she carrled white, eucharis lilies. Misses Jean and Margaret Jamieson, as bridesmaids, were frocked alike in pale green mariette with green and silver halo caps, and they carried pink roses. Mr. William Wilkinson was best man, and Mr. James Davidson groomsman. Mr. Hugh Brandon was organist, and Mr. P. J. Allan sang a solo. The reception was held at Essex House, Adelaide Street, where the bride's mother greeted her guests wearing brown crepe de Chine with coffee coloured lace, and a  hat to tone. On leaving for the honeymoon, which will be spent touring the Northern Rivers, the bride wore royal blue coterie, with a hat to tone.
