A WEDDING of interest to many friends took place at St. George's Chapel, Crawley, during the week, when Mr. Gresley Drummond Clarkson, second son of the late Mr. D. Clarkson and Mrs. Clarkson, of Fremantle, was married to Miss Mary Wallace, elder daughter of Dr. and Mrs. A. G. S. Wallace, of Peppermint Grove. Canon John Bell officiated. The bride wore a frock of white patterned satin, simply designed and finished with a train. A tulle veil was held with a spray of white marguerites, and she carried white roses to match. Miss Diana Davy and Miss Elizabeth Wallace were bridesmaids, wearing picture frocks of hyacinth blue taffeta, and carrying sheaves of pink roses and fern. Flying-Officer Forman was best man. Mrs. Wallace, assisted by Mrs. Clarkson, afterwards received guests, at the Esplanade Hotel, after which the bride and groom left for their honeymoon. The bride's travelling outfit was of electric blue angora cloth, with gold thread embroidery, and pill-box hat to match.
