GLORIA MAE WHITE or MAZELIN was born 01 June 1938 in Sumter Township, Sumter County, South Carolina, USA. She was the daughter of Lewis C. White and Ilah Maxine Berry. Raised by her stepfather, Warren Isaac Mazelin, she took on his surname.

Gloria was a nursing assistant. She died on Sunday, 23 March 2003, at the age of 64. Services were held at 11 a.m. on the 25th of March at New Start Community Church in Manning, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Sumter. Stephens Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Surviving are her siblings, Warren Mazelin Jr., Grover Mazelin, Doris Boykin, and Laurel Mazelin; grandchildren, Jennifer, Daniel, and Robert Sharp; and stepdaughter, Melissa Turner.
