  CULBERTSON — Hilda A. White, 80, died Monday (Dec. 29, 2003) at Community Hospital of McCook.
  
  She was born May 19, 1923, to Henry and Katherine (Wriwth) Pruser in Linn, Kan. She grew up in Linn, where she graduated from Linn High School.
  
  On Sept. 2, 1944, she married Dewey "Red" White in Clay Center, Kan. The couple came to Culbertson in September 1956. She received her hairdresser training at McCook Beauty Academy. For over forty years she owned and operated Hilda's Beauty Shop at Culbertson. She retired in 2001.
  
  She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Culbertson.
  
  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Jean White in 1974.
  
  Survivors include her husband, Dewey "Red" White of Culbertson; one son, ----- White and wife, ----- of Rivertson, Wyo.; two brothers, ----- Pruser of Clinton, Ill., and ----- Pruser and wife, ----- of Farmer City, Ill.; one sister, ----- ----- of Clay Center, Kan.; and two granddaughters.
  
  Services are Friday, 10:30 a.m., at St. John's Lutheran Church in Culbertson with the Rev. Bryan Hopfensperger officiating. Interment will be in the Culbertson Cemetery in Culbertson.
  
  Memorials may be given in her name and friends may call Herrmann Funeral Chapel in Culbertson.
