Chaffee — Mrs. Jacob Shuls, 82 years old, of Chaffee Route 2, died Saturday in a Cape Girardeau hospital. She was born Jan. 11, 1885 in Bollinger County.
Mrs. Shuls married Thomas Garner in 1922. Mr. Garner preceded her in death. To this marriage six children were born, five of whom have died. She later married Jacob Shuls who survives at the residence. They had three children, all of whom are dead.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Homer Hinkle of Advance; a brother, John Wooldridge of Kansas; and a sister Mrs. Ella May Boren of California.
The body was taken to the Morgan Funeral Home in Advance. Services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 in the Delta Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Kenyon Cemetery.
