James E. Maglone
James E. Maglone, 94 years old, died Saturday night at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Robert Burns of South Cape Girardeau. He was born March 1, 1872, at Sailer Springs, Ill.
Surviving are four sons, Albert Maglone, in Illinois, and Archie, James and David Lee Maglone, Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Mrs. Lena Thomas of Murphysboro, Ill., Mrs. Florence Rains and Mrs. Robert Burns, Cape Girardeau; two brothers, John and Frank Maglone, Murphysboro, Ill., one sister, Mrs. Ethel Cunningham, Kansas City; 31 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Maglone had lived here for the past 26 years, moving from Murphysboro.
Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 at Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles P. Marshall officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery. The body is at Lorberg Funeral Home.
