    Mrs. William White Died at Waterloo

    Funeral service for Mrs. William White was held Tuesday afternoon at two-thirty in the Evangelical church and was conducted by the pastor, Rev. W.F. Brecher.  Interment was made in West View Cemetery.

    Electa B. Fry, daughter of Martin and Amy Fry, was born in Washington Co., Wis, June 3rd 1849 and died in the home of her niece, Mrs. B.M. Fritzsinger in Waterloo Sunday evening, May 24, 1931.

    In 1867 she came with her parents to LaPorte City, where she grew to womanhood.

    On Dec 24, 1872 she was married to William White, a Civil War veteran. In 1915, Mr. and Mrs. White were received into the Soldier's Home in Marshalltown and lived there until March 1st, 1928. When they came to this place and lived in the home of their niece, Mrs. Jesse Bond, where they were cared for by Mrs. Bond and her mother, Mrs. Mattie Fry.

    Mr. White died Nov 11, 1928.  About six weeks ago, Mrs. Bond became ill and Mrs. White was taken to the home of another niece, Mrs. B. M. Fritzsinger in Waterloo, where she died Sunday evening. Surviving is one brother, John W. Fry of Westfield, Wis, other relatives and many friends. The late Jesse Fry of this place was a brother.
