   A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 29, 2000, in Ross Hollywood Chapel for Donald Louis Read Jackson, who died Sept. 23 at age 89.
   Mr. Jackson was born Aug. 5, 1911, in Oldham, S.D. He moved to Portland in 1936. He was an office manager for Osmund & Co., later Van Waters & Rogers, for 38 years until his retirement in 1974. He was a member of Hinson Memorial Baptist Church. In 1934, he married Margaret Rood; she died in 1979. In 1980, he married Ruby Reynolds; she died in 1987. He married Catherine Blanchard in 1988.
   Survivors include his wife; daughter, Barbara J. Brown; sister, Jean Donnally; and two grandchildren.
   Private interment will be in Fir Lawn Cemetery in Hillsboro. The family suggests remembrances to his church.
