NOTE:  There is a discrepancy regarding Jane Crandall, daughter of Samuel Crandall and Sarah Celley.

Joshua Bailey Richmond's history of the Richmond Family says:
113. CYRUS RICHMOND4 (John3, Edward2, John1) was born in Kingston, R. I. He married, first, January 29, 1718 –19, Jane Crandall, daughter of Samuel and Sarah (Celley) Crandall, born August 23, 1692, and died April 26, 1733. He married, secondly, March 27, 1734, Phebe Mott.

However, according to Benjamin Franklin Wilbor's Little Compton Families, Jane Crandall, daughter of Samuel Crandall and Sarah Celly, married William Wilbor in 1712. Under the William Wilbor entry, he states that they are both buried on his father's homestead farm in the old cemetery. Jane is listed in William's will as his "true and faithful wife." According to Little Compton Families, Jane was born 23 Aug 1692 and died 20 Jan 1782.

They can't both be right (the dates don't work out for her to have married both men).  Obviously, someone has misidentified who the "Jane" is that either Cyrus Richmond or William Wilbor married.  More research needs to be done to resolve this issue.   March 2007, kmh.
